Michael Howard joined the PUBLIQ team in March as our new hardware technician. Before starting, he owned his own business as a licensed general contractor for 14 years. During that time, Michael and his team served the telecommunications industry as they installed communication towers and peripheral tower-mounted antennas and systems for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.
Feeling in need of a change, Michael brought his knowledge of equipment and hardware to PUBLIQ. He says he was excited to find a company that truly embraces taking care of their employees and is looking forward to having a healthy work-life balance. As a hardware technician, Michael services and supports our customers by installing and commissioning new equipment, such as servers, workstations, printers, and barcode scanners. He also handles on-site repairs and maintenance.
Michael currently lives in Taylors, SC, where he was born and raised, with his two sons aged 14 and 10. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with them, riding motorcycles with friends, and cruising through back roads and mountains. He has many hobbies, including hunting, metal detecting, shooting sports, and video gaming.
