Microsoft® has announced that several products will be reaching end-of-life status next year, including the popular operating system Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. These products will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options, or online technical content updates.
As a PUBLIQ™ Software customer, it is imperative that your organization updates to Windows 10 as soon as possible. Workstations processing credit card transactions and those directly connected to a point-of-sale machine must convert to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016. If not, your organization will no longer be PCI compliant.
