Carrie Gosnell joined the PUBLIQ team in July as a Client Services technician. It was a smooth transition as she had worked in the Accounting department for our sister company, QS/1®, since 2018. Prior to that, Carrie worked in a dental office for 13 years. After being in the accounting field, Carrie decided she wanted to branch out. She loves new challenges and has always enjoyed working with people, so the position sounded like a great fit for her.
As part of our Client Services team, which provides software support to our customers, Carrie will be one of the new voices our Utility Billing customers hear on the phone when they call us. She says she’s excited about the opportunity to grow and meet new people as she embraces her new role.
Carrie was born in Atlanta, GA, but she grew up in a small community in Spartanburg County called Holly Springs. She attended Lander University with the hopes of becoming a high school Spanish teacher but later decided that wasn’t the right path for her. Like a lot of us, she says she’s still deciding what she wants to be when she grows up. Carrie has an 18-year-old son, who is heading into his first semester of college this fall, where he will study mechatronics. She also has a 12-year-old shih tzu named Oscar, who’s named after Oscar the Grouch thanks to the big bushy eyebrows he had as a pup! In her down time, Carrie loves to read and always has her Kindle within reach.
