In June 2020, Kevin Mitchell joined the PUBLIQ team as a batch processing operator, and now we’re celebrating his promotion to manager of development processing. In his new position, Kevin manages the daily operations of our print shop and processing for our customers’ property tax and utility notices.
Kevin grew up in Rome, GA, where he received his BS degree in Public Recreation Administration from Shorter University. He moved to the Upstate in 2008 and now lives in Duncan, SC, with his wife of 21 years and their full house: four kids, a nine-year-old Boston Terrier named Rio, and their two cats Nala and Katniss. In his off time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his kids. He said keeping up with them and all their activities is like a second full-time job. He also loves fishing, hiking, camping, and watching the Florida State Seminoles. Fun fact: Kevin has a hidden talent. He can recite all of the presidents in under 20 seconds! He jokes that he used to be able to recite them in 10 seconds, but the list just keeps growing.
When asked what his favorite part of working for PUBLIQ is, he said, “The people! Not only my great team but everyone here who has welcomed me in my new role.”
